Home Removals

So you are moving house? How exciting! Now you need the the transition to go as smoothly as possible. That’s where we come in. We have a team of expert movers ready and waiting to take you to your new home. There are many things to consider with home removals, so we have compiled a list of some helpful hints for you below.

Decluttering

Start with decluttering and sorting all your belongings into categories such as keep, donate, sell, or discard.

Packing

Think about packing. We would be more than happy to supply all the necessary packing materials such as cardboard boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap, etc. Alternatively, we could quote you to wrap the entire contents of your house. If you are packing yourself, make sure to: Label all the boxes with the contents and the room they belong to, to make unpacking easier. Pack non-essential items first, such as out-of-season clothes, books, and decorative items. Pack fragile items with extra care and use bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or foam inserts to protect them. Use towels, clothes, and linens as extra padding for delicate items. Pack electronics separately and label the boxes with “Fragile” and “Electronics” to ensure they are handled with care.

Dismantle larger furniture items such as beds, desks, and shelves and pack them separately with all the necessary screws and bolts. We offer a furniture dismantling service which includes reassembly at the new venue. Please ask for details. Finally, double-check every room to ensure everything is packed, labelled, and ready to go

Home Removals

Home removals is a very competitive industry. If the company is too large, it can lose the personal touch, something that we think is necessary. We aim to make your moving day stress free and a friendly face goes a long way in such circumstances. If the company is too small, it may not have the correct tools or know-how to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
